# SubDex Privacy Policy

## Overview

 

SubDex ("the App") is developed by PetruccelliLabs. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information SubDex accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

 

**The short version: SubDex does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device.**

 

## Information We Access

 

### Contacts

 

SubDex requests access to your device's Contacts when you choose to import subcontractors. This access is used solely to let you select and organize contacts within the App. Contact data is never uploaded to any server, shared with third parties, or transmitted off your device in any way.

 

You may deny or revoke Contacts access at any time through your device's Settings. The App will continue to function — you simply won't be able to import contacts from your address book.

 

### Camera

 

SubDex may request access to your device's camera for future features such as business card scanning. Camera data is processed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. No images or camera data are stored, uploaded, or transmitted.

 

## Data Storage

 

All data you create or import in SubDex — including subcontractor profiles, tags, ratings, and notes — is stored locally on your device. SubDex does not use cloud storage, remote databases, or any external servers.

 

A small amount of app preference data (such as whether you have completed onboarding) is stored locally using standard iOS mechanisms (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device.

 

## Data Collection

 

SubDex does **not** collect:

 

- Personal information

- Usage analytics or telemetry

- Location data

- Device identifiers

- Advertising data

- Crash reports

 

We use **no** third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

 

## Third-Party Services

 

SubDex does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The App does not contain ads and does not share data with advertisers.

 

## Data Sharing

 

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with any third party, for any reason.

 

## Children's Privacy

 

SubDex does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App is a professional tool designed for general contractors and construction professionals.

 

## Changes to This Policy

 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
